Who We Are
Tahaleel is a specialist research consultancy that gathers and structures data in closed and conflict-affected contexts. We combine field networks across the Middle East and Africa with quantitative modelling, remote sensing, and supply-chain analysis, using datasets we build ourselves or obtain from private sources. We build an evidence base where none existed before.

What We Do
We produced the first known cost breakdown of Syria's Captagon supply chain — now the World Bank's baseline. We broke down Yemen's fuel and food supply chains during active conflict, shaping humanitarian programming across the country. And we have built and analysed numerous innovative datasets, including a diesel consumption model and night lights reflectance (NLR) analysis that exposed cross-border smuggling networks exploiting Lebanese fuel subsidies.
